Upon signing the renewal, she expressed her excitement for expanding their charitable efforts, hoping to reach more communities in need. Escaño highlighted the positive reception of her endorsement, noting the absence of negative comments, as their promotions focus on social initiatives rather than just gaming. She emphasized the unique aspect of CC6’s advocacy, questioning where else people could find a gaming company that prioritizes giving back. Digital Marketing Head Jev Fargo echoed this sentiment, stating that while CC6 promotes its platform, the emphasis remains on community support rather than just gameplay.

CC6, a popular online gaming platform, offers a variety of games, incluing slots, card games, live dealers, and sports betting, while FunBingo provides themed bingo experiences. Additionally, they have organized tree planting initiatives, aid for abused children in Bulacan, and support for local sports activities. These efforts have solidified CC6 and FunBingo’s reputation as gaming platforms with a strong social conscience.

Looking ahead to 2025, CC6 and FunBingo plan to expand their charitable initiatives and gaming features. They recently celebrated their 5th and 7th anniversaries, respectively, by distributing substantial financial aid to communities, with CC6 donating ₱77 billion and FunBingo contributing ₱27 billion. Their future plans include introducing AR/VR gaming for a more immersive experience, blockchain technology for enhanced transparency, and live tournaments to boost player engagement. They also aim to expand their affiliate program, providing users with more earning opportunities. The company remains committed to its mission of blending entertainment with social responsibility, ensuring that gaming goes beyond enjoyment and serves as a platform for meaningful community impact. With a dedicated events team led by Ms. Dhevy Sahagun and supported by B’Vibes Entertainment Production and JAF Digital Group, CC6 and FunBingo continue to prove that their games are not just for fun but also for a greater cause.

2025 National Textile Convention (TELACon)

The Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) led the 2025 National Textile Convention (TELACon) at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City on January 30-31. Themed "Weaving Circularity," the event highlighted sustainable and innovative practices in the textile and garment industries. In line with Proclamation No. 313, which designates January as Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) Month, the event featured the KatHABI Textile Innovation Exposition, showcasing locally crafted textiles from natural fibers.

The first day focused on circularity in textile production, covering closed-loop systems, upcycling, and life-cycle analysis. A keynote address underscored the role of science, technology, and innovation in driving sustainability. The "Circular Economy Forum" discussed governance, policies, and business models supporting a sustainable textile industry. Experts from the United Nations Development Programme, NEDA, and the Department of Finance contributed insights on integrating circular economy principles into national policies. Industry leaders, including representatives from Bayo and Basically Borrowed, shared sustainable product development strategies.

The second day introduced strategic partnerships and initiatives to strengthen the Philippine textile industry. Highlights included Cebu Pacific Air’s promotion of local weaves, the expansion of the Bamboo Textile Fiber Innovation Hub, and a research collaboration with UP-Diliman on bamboo textiles. DOST-PTRI also partnered with Creative Definitions to explore alternative leather materials and collaborated with HeArteFino to develop Philippine Tropical Fabric products. The Philippine Tropical Fabrics Technical Committee panel discussed key achievements, future plans, and legislative efforts to integrate local fabrics into mainstream fashion and government uniforms.

The convention concluded with the "KatHABI Fashion Innovation Show," featuring government-appropriate uniforms made from Philippine Tropical Fabrics, in line with RA 9242. TELACon reinforced the country’s commitment to a circular textile economy, providing a platform for innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.
