returned to Manila with strong momentum, attracting over 13,000 delegates to the SMX Convention Centre from June 1–4. Positioned at the intersection of gaming and emerging technologies, the event has become a vital gateway to Asian markets, particularly the Philippines. More than a traditional conference, SiGMA Asia showcased economic potential, innovation, and responsible industry growth through a dynamic mix of talks, startup showcases, cultural immersion, and charity initiatives. The opening ceremony, led by international and industry leaders, underscored collaboration and highlighted Malta’s role in regulatory innovation and its growing ties with Asia.
Day 1 featured a packed agenda on the SiGMA Stage, beginning with regulatory alignment, compliance, and sustainable growth strategies. Conversations then shifted to Affiliate Alchemy, where experts explored performance-driven acquisition and retention models. Discussions on the future of casinos introduced trends like gamification, AR/VR applications, and next-generation user experiences. The SiGMA Startup Pitch provided a platform for emerging talent to present their disruptive ideas to investors, before William Anderson of sureWin closed the day with forward-looking insights on technology and operations. In parallel, the AIBC Stage explored artificial intelligence, crypto payments, blockchain regulation, and esports innovation, rounded off by a workshop with Dr. Jane Thomason.
Day 2 shifted focus to user-centric innovation and workforce development. Sessions on gamification, player engagement, and ethical AI highlighted strategies for enhancing the iGaming experience. The Affiliate-Operator Quiz added an engaging element while panels on digital marketing and recruitment tackled pressing issues in visibility, skill-building, and leadership. Over at the AIBC Stage, workshops and panels explored gaming tokenisation, decentralised technologies, and investor-startup collaboration. The day culminated in the AIBC Startup Pitch, which spotlighted high-potential projects in AI, blockchain, and gamified applications, further reinforcing the event’s role as an innovation hub.
The Startup Pitch competitions emerged as highlights of the summit, serving as launchpads for disruptive ventures. SavageTech captured the top spot on the SiGMA Stage with its scalable infrastructure and tech-driven solutions, impressing both judges and industry stakeholders. On the AIBC Stage, Analytiks Inc. stood out with its data-driven approach to behavioural analytics and operational efficiency. Together, these competitions reflected SiGMA Asia’s commitment to fostering innovation and supporting early-stage companies across gaming and frontier technologies. With its successful blend of business, technology, culture, and collaboration, SiGMA Asia 2025 reinforced its position as a premier platform shaping the future of gaming in Asia.
