Go Negosyo MSME Summit 2026

 

The Go Negosyo MSME Summit 2026, carrying the theme "Empowering MSMEs for ASEAN Prosperity," successfully gathered aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, government leaders, and industry experts at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City on Saturday, July 18. Organized in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Council, and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Philippines, the summit highlighted the crucial role of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in driving economic growth, generating employment, and strengthening the country's support for the Philippines' ASEAN chairship and the observance of National MSME Month.

 

The event featured an inspiring lineup of business leaders and government officials, including SM Investments Vice Chair Tessie Sy-Coson, DTI Secretary Cristina Roque, Go Negosyo Founder Jose Ma. Concepcion III, and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chair George Barcelon. Through keynote addresses and interactive discussions, speakers shared practical insights on entrepreneurship, digital transformation, market expansion, and sustainable business growth, encouraging Filipino entrepreneurs to embrace innovation and seize new opportunities in the evolving business landscape.

Participants also benefited from a wide range of learning and networking activities, including free business mentoring sessions, financial consultations, industry talks, and opportunities to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and business partners. The summit reaffirmed Go Negosyo's commitment to empowering Filipino MSMEs by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and strategic connections needed to build resilient enterprises and contribute to a more competitive and prosperous ASEAN economy.
